Imagine waking up in Montréal on a sunny day. You grab a coffee and a croissant at the corner café, then walk past a taco shop and a sushi spot, and the smell of fresh food follows you down the street. Up on the hill, an artist is painting with her headphones on, and nearby, a student reads in the bookstore before heading to class. By the pool, friends laugh and relax while a sleepy cat watches the world go by. When you need to go somewhere, the red train is always ready, and the streets are full of life. Everywhere you look, old castle-style buildings stand next to modern towers and little colourful houses. That's the Montréal I wanted to draw: a city full of art, food, learning, and fun, where there's always something new around the corner.
